HOW ASB USES ITS FUNDS

How ASB spends its money is a topic often discussed at CCA.  ASB is governed by California Law delegating how we can spend our funds.  So what can we use the money for?

We can use the money for:
  • Fun lunchtime events - In-n-Out n About, Tricycle Race, Raven Idol, Clash of the Sports, and more!
  • Dances - Homecoming, Winter Formal, and Prom
  • Senior Week - Disneyland!
  • Raven Nation and Sports - We contribute over 20K a year to athletics to help pay for referees.  This reduces the cost of playing a sport immensely
  • Envision - Thousand every year are contributed to various art shows, theater productions, dance shows and more to make them cheaper for students
  • Conservatory - We help pay for equipment, speakers and more!
  • Clubs - School-sponsored clubs are given the opportunity to apply for funding from ASB to put on their awesome events!
  • Student Store

ASB is prohibited from spending money on classroom supplies, Teacher/Staff salaries, school improvement projects, vending machines, charity, and food services.

  • How do we decide where the money goes?  YOU get to help decide through the Student Senate!  ASB takes the feedback from our monthly Student Senate meetings and integrates your ideas into the events.

Not in Student Senate? Don't worry, your input is equally valued.  If you have a brilliant idea send us a suggestion!
